Bunk beds are economical and help save space for use in smaller rooms. Although adult sizes are available, they are more commonly used for children sharing a room. And it’s likely that someone in your family grew up on one of these beds, if it wasn’t you yourself. An adaptation that also gained popularity are loft beds, where the space below the bed was filled out by a chest or drawer.
